Description

Kids - young and old - enjoy this treat!

Ingredients

  • 9 c chex cereal - rice works best (or could use crispix)
  • 1 c chocolate chips
  • 1⁄2 c peanut butter - creamy
  • 1⁄4 c butter
  • 1 t vanilla
  • 1 1⁄2 c powered sugar (more or less - depending on taste)

Instructions

Melt Butter. Add chocolate chips and peanut butter. After all melted together, add vanilla.

Pour melted mixture over cereal and stir to coat. Add powdered sugar - put lid on bowl - shake to cover cereal. Tastes better with sugar - but sometimes I don't use it - still good either way.

Lay out on tray of towel to dry. Enjoy!

Notes

Keep the ingredients on hand and when you get the call that guests are coming - you can whip this up in a short amount of time. This works well for bake sales also. A big hit!
